Renton covers a lot of housing eras in a small footprint. Kennydale and the older Highlands blocks are full of postwar houses with kitchens that have been reworked at least once, usually around a standard-width range and a dishwasher squeezed into a cabinet run that was never sized for one. Fairwood and the newer developments toward Maple Valley came with matched appliance packages that are now old enough to start failing.
A lot of what we see in Renton is installation-related rather than appliance failure. A dishwasher that floods, a dryer that never finishes a load, a range that lights unevenly — in each case the first thing we check is how it was put in, not what part to replace.
Areas we cover
Renton Highlands, Kennydale, Talbot Hill, Fairwood, Benson Hill, Earlington, The Landing and Maplewood.
Getting to your door
Rainier Avenue and the I-405 interchange back up badly at peak hours. We schedule Renton mid-morning or early afternoon so the window we give you is one we can actually meet.
What we repair
Refrigerators and freezers, washers and dryers, dishwashers, ranges, cooktops and wall ovens. We service LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, GE, Maytag, Frigidaire, Kenmore and Bosch, and we clean dryer vents as a separate job.
Frequently asked questions
Water sits in the bottom of my dishwasher after every cycle. Is the pump dead?
Not usually. Standing water is far more often a clogged filter, a kinked drain hose or a garbage disposal whose knockout plug was never removed at installation. We check the whole drain path before quoting a pump.
Can you come the same day?
Often, yes, especially if you call in the morning. Renton sits on our regular route, so we can usually fit an afternoon window.
Do you repair appliances in condos and townhouses?
Yes. If your building needs notice before water is shut off to a stack, tell us at booking so the visit is not wasted.
